The video on the right depicts Tommy Ferguson's attempt to land on the flatbed of a trailer. Unfortunately, he crash-landed arm-first against the side of the trailer, resulting in the amputation of his arm. What is truly inspirational about Tommy is that he returned to skydiving shortly after this life-changing event. I find the determination of individuals like Tommy fascinating. Throughout most of my adult life, I have held a strong curiosity about how we can learn from those who take risks, face loss, and continue to move forward.
